Cerebrum 1

$250.00

A modular, customizable robotic platform.

Categories: ,

Description

Meet the Cerebrum 1, a modular robotic platform that can be customized with interchangeable hardware expansions called “augments.” These augments, which are categorized into Mobility Augments (MA) and Utility Augments (UA) can be attached onto the many faces of Cerebrum 1’s hexagonal frame. The assembled unit, in addition to the user-friendly software suite Karyon, is what we refer to as a Personal Robot (PR).

With the ability to swap augments, Cerebrum 1 dramatically reduces the costs of maintenance and upgrades. If your purposes for using Cerebrum change in the future, rather than buying an entirely new robot and all the labor that comes with it, you can instead replace or add new augments. This immensely extends the usefulness and longevity of the Cerebrum platform compared to other robotic units.

Cerebrum 1 by itself is only a part, relying on other augments to fulfill duties. The Cerebrum 1 can be both autonomous and manually operated – the only limitations are what you decide.

Design

Cerebrum 1’s unique design comes from a long line of variations and perspectives to provide a truly innovative machine. The astonishing amount of potential is harnessed within its stylish frame.

Customization

You can choose from nearly any combination of augments. The Cerebrum 1 platform has no static or permanently predefined functions, and does not depend on proprietary software.

Multitasking

No need to spend time researching or configuring various robots designed to execute a single task. Cerebrum 1 has plenty of room for expansion, allowing your Personal Robot to take on an extra load of work or completely change assignments.

Remote Control Options

Cerebrum 1 contains built-in Bluetooth and WiFi in order for you to remotely operate your robot. If you are in need of more options, Cerebrum 1 contains several USB ports and an open-source operating system for you to choose the control method that best suits you.

Programmable

Our development tools provide you with the ability to create your own programs regardless of your programming skill. If you are an adept developer, you are also free to use any programming language you prefer. Cerebrum 1 contains an internal quad-core processor to allow high performance software to run smoothly.

Durable

The Cerebrum 1 is built to endure various weather conditions and environments. Its body was constructed to be both strong and lightweight to take on rugged and agile applications alike.

Software Store

If you need automation but don’t have the time, patience, or skills in programming, there’s a chance that someone else has already made it. In the Symbiomech software store, you’ll find programs that have been tested and approved by our engineers.

Third-Party Support

We at Symbiomech Industries are very supportive of community efforts. Users will actually have a say in what new augment models should be released to optimize their platform’s use. Users may also submit programs that, if approved, may be hosted and approved by us.
