At the center of every Personal Robot is a base-unit, which currently involves the Cerebrum 1. Base units contain a few built-in sensors to protect from environmental hazards. They also are a way to interconnect augments while controlling the actions of everything that happens throughout the robot. Base units often act as the spine of the robot.
