Collisions Plugin

The Collisions Plugin is a rough visual interpretation of the potential obstacles in Cerebrum’s view.

Cerebrum’s collision sensory system is very approximate – it does not know the size, shape, material, or precise location of the object it has sensed.  Therefore, the data resembled in this is not to be taken literally.  The images above show how Cerebrum’s “vision” is not exactly what the environment looks like.

The blue hexagon in the center resembles Cerebrum; it will always point forward.

The black areas resemble what Cerebrum deems as an impenetrable object and will assume it is infinite.

The gray areas resemble Cerebrum’s actual field of view.  Anything outside of this area, Cerebrum cannot detect. [NOT IMPLEMENTED YET]

NOTE: WE NEED TO MODIFY THIS TO DRAW A CONE RESEMBLING THE ACTUAL FIELD OF VIEW OF EACH SENSOR.  THIS CANNOT BE DONE UNTIL WE GET THE FINAL SENSORS
